Tony Huth
Marketing & Tech Lead

HISTORY

Tony is an accomplished healthcare executive with broad and deep skills in software product design/execution, Saas, product marketing, as well as prepping health IT companies for exit. In the late 90s, he got his start developing some of the earliest product launch CD-ROMs for CPI/Guidant pacing devices. In 2000, he co-founded Medicom Digital, where for 14 years he built over 100 branded and unbranded interactive programs for purchasing agents/docs/patients, helping big pharma (and their ad agencies) launch and grow profitable drug brands via early interactive “apps.”

 

In 2010, seeking to pivot into a scalable Saas product platform, Tony rebranded the company as Medicom Health, focusing on health IT services for health system marketing. To this day, Medicom’s industry-leading health risk assessments (HRAs) help grow patient volumes for chronic conditions. Following up on that success, Medicom Health built a patented Saas platform/plug-in for the Epic EHR to auto-embed coupons for inpatient prescriptions into patient discharge paperwork – similar to GoodRx but more convenient.

 

In 2022, Tony ushered his company to a successful double exit, joining an acquirer to transition the HRA product line. As a key member of the sell team, he helped position their roll-up for sale and participate in pitches from interested private equity. The result was one of the most successful sales in H.I.G. Growth Partners’ history. Once described as the “Zuckerberg of health risk assessments,” Tony now leads his solo marketing consultancy and multi-pronged business development think-tank (ClickLabz) to fuel his broad range of digital skills & interests.
